Meg's kids school is putting on a Sock Hop. Why? The question remains unanswered. The only explanation seems to be that the members of the PTO thought it would be "fun" (these are also the ones that attend EVERY school event, class party, field trip, and have the teacher's telephone number on speed dial). A Sock Hop? With a Third Grader? Meg can barely pull Justin off of the Xbox, let alone drag him to a School Sock Hop, but the Mom of the Year opts to tell her offspring that it'll be like a Fortnite dance competition. Now, Mommy needs an outfit to wear that makes her look like she tried, so the PTO Mean Girls don't give her their phony pity.
